The artist favours the search-photography through the concept of the rythm and the movement, which is typical of futurists and cubists. He began his carrier using a photocamera Widelux for a research '' on the road” but then, since about 18 years, he firmly uses only POLAROID for which he quickly becomes the creator of the specific movement (see the volume ''Polaroid Pro Art”). In 1992 he got the famous ''Gran Prix Kodak Pubblicità Italia”. In 2000 he realized a ''travelling” exhibition of the series ''I MAESTRI” for KODAK ITALIA, where he wished to express one of his searching points, through the everyday life full of emotion and feeling, theme of ''My Lisboa” exhibition. Creativity and planning capability are pointed out into the ''Photographic Portrait”, an updated technique, which has been adapted especially to all his so personal ''portraits” made in the world of art, fashion and culture. He is ''Instant Artist” for POLAROID ITALIA and he has been the creator of the ''Italian Polaroid Collection” too. He cooperated with the CONDE' NAST EDITOR, with GIORGIO MONDADORI EDITOR, with TIME MAGAZINE and CLASS EDITOR, ''MAX” by RIZZOLI R.C.S. and recently with the prestigious CARTIER MAGAZINE. On the occasion of the Venezia Film Festival 1996/1998 and the Sanremo Festival 1997/1998 he was the responsable of an important photographic project for Polaroid Italia. He has also realized some advertising images and covers for a lot of important companies . He realized a performance for CARTIER during the presentation of a new jewels' collection at the Leopolda Station in Florence in October 1999 and at the Grande Arche in Paris in October 2000. He created for the football A.C. MILAN Society a nice portrait work, whose name is ''Il Milan del centenario” and which has been presented during the Triennale in Milan - March 2000. For RIVA CANTIERI NAUTICI in Montecarlo together with other 14 artists (Folon, Arman, Lodola, Adami…) he has realized an artistic project about the world of RIVA's motorboats. For SWITZERLAND CHEESE MARKETING ITALIA he also realized the volume ''SWISS IN CHEESE” edited by Giuliana Scimé. For SANOFY SYNTHELABO, a prestigious pharmaceutic company, he realized a creative photographic book on the ''hypertension world”. He is ''Visiting Professor” at the Domus Academy and at the Italian Photography Institute in Milan; he is holding a lot of creative stages at the most important italian photographic workshops. In September 2000 at PHOTOKINA in Colonia - Polaroid Pavilion and from 1990 to 2000 during the PHOTO SHOW in Milan and Rome, he realized great artistic performances. In October 2000 at the SMAU exhibition he made a creative project for CANON ITALIA. In March 2001 he made a creative performance for FUJI ITALIA at the Milan PHOTO SHOW. He has collaborated with the prestigious ''FONDAZIONE DELLE ARTI E DEI MESTIERI COLOGNI” to the realization of the volume ''IL FOTOGRAFO, MESTIERE D'ARTE” edited by Giuliana Scimé. During ''ARTE FIERA” Bologna - Paris Photo 1998 he made an important iconoclastic Polaroid research of all the artists who took part to the show, in the 2001 edition he did a performance with the Polaroid 50 x 60 Black and White. For the famous art gallery LIPANJEPUNTIN in Trieste he made the calendar PHOTOPOP 2001. On the occasion of Venezia Film Festival 2003 and 2004, with the collaboration of PHOTO MOVIE of Milan, with his POLAROID 50X60 he realized mosaic-portraits to the artists which were present. On the 27th of September 2003 the prestigious English review ''THE TIMES MAGAZINE” dedicated the whole cover to the portrait of the American actor Johnny Depp realized during the 60°Film Festival in Venice. In October 2003 the volume ''MADE IN ITALY viaggio con Polaroid” has been published by LOGOS Modena. In July 2004 the book ''NAPOLI ISTANTANEA” has been issued by G. SCIME' - editor LOGOS Modena.. In September 2004 another volume ''INSTANTANEO ... VENEZIA PLANET ...” of ITALO ZANNIER has been published from BUGNO ART GALLERY . In October 204 he realized a creative/artistic performance at the conservatory of Milan for the presentation of a new watch of JAEGER LE COULTRE. Some of his works belong to the most important private photographic collections. In January 1999 the famous montly Italian magazine ''CLASS” classified Maurizio Galimberti the first portrait-photographer of Italy.
